Time to go ...

Betty has had a wonderful week of good weather, which is still continuing as I write.  On Friday, we went up to Sillico, where the Sientiero del Moro (the bandit's trail) leads up from the picturesque village through the chestnut woods, among the still-used chestnut drying huts - the metati.

A meal out that night - at L'Osteria - and then next day the trip in to Pisa to get Betty's flight in the afternoon.
