Fabbriche di Vallico, Vallico di Sotto, Vallico di Sopra, San Luigi

The weather continues uncannily fair, so we set off this morning with the intention of climbing to the summit of one of the mountains opposite us - Monte Paladina.  However, a leisurely cappuccino and dolce in the sun in Fabricche di Vallico, and a rather too relaxed ascent from Vallico di Sopra to San Luigi put the kibosh on continuing to the final leg of the climb.

The sun sets behind the Pania della Croce last night
Heavy traffic as an Ape(pronounced as a cockney would say "happy" - means bee in Italian) approaches in Vallico di Sotto
A lone geranium flower ornaments this small window ...
... while the sun backlights this Hart's Tongue fern along the way

Looking back at Vallico di Sotto
A little angel blows a kiss in welcome to Vallico di Sopra

A well-peserved cobbled mule track leads up from Vallico di Sopra to San Luigi
