Viv and Betty visit

We have just seen Viv and Betty off on the bus to Lucca.  Rainy today, but they have had pretty fair weather here for the last three days.  We met up with them in Florence and brought them here on Friday.

In Florence, we managed to visit the church of Santa Croce to see some frescoes by Giotto, the Bargello (the old jail, now a sculpture museum) and the Uffizi gallery.

Friday - at Tiglio Alto
Saturday - a last ray of evening sun up at Trassilico
Sunday - on the pilgrim's bridge at Castiglione
Later - "Will the timer work?"
